A busy January resurfacing Lincolnshire’s roads

The Minster Surfacing team laid more than 1,000 tonnes of asphalt last week as we’re repairing and resurfacing Lincolnshire’s roads.

That’s an impressive task for any road resurfacing firm, but we’ve also been able to recycle 50% of the material we’ve removed.

In the cold winter weather, our teams are hard at work for Lincolnshire County Council, Lincolnshire Highways Alliance, and Kier Group to keep the county’s roads in good condition.

In one day alone, we laid more than 400 tonnes to make sure the roads were finished ready for the weekend.

As if that wasn’t enough, we’re getting ready to resurface even more roads this week when we’ll be laying another 2000 tonnes.

During this work, we’re hoping to recycle even more material than we did last week.

We do this with the help of Alliance Recycling and Foambase technology.

It’s a very busy month, but it’s extremely satisfying when we add the white lines and allow traffic onto our pristine road surfaces for the first time.
