24 years after we began, I’m proud to announce that Minster is beginning an exciting new chapter as part of Breedon Group.

This investment in our company will immediately enhance our services, it will further our commitment to innovation and sustainability, and it secures our long term future.

We’ll still be the Minster Group you know and trust; our brand will remain and so will our team (me included), we’ll just have the long term security and stability that comes with being part of a leading construction materials group, protecting what the team and I have built over the years and giving us a solid foundation for further success.

The immediate investment will allow us to add to our fleet of machinery to keep up with the demands of our clients, and it will also enable us to continue innovating, leading the way for sustainable civil engineering as we always have.

In return, we’ll be helping Breedon to grow its presence in the East of England and beyond while also enhancing its recycling capabilities.

If you’re not familiar with Breedon, they’re a leading supplier of essential materials for the construction industry. This includes aggregates, cement, asphalt, ready-mixed concrete and surfacing solutions. It supports a broad range of customers through an extensive network of quarries, ready-mixed concrete and asphalt plants. Like us, Breedon is committed to sustainable civil engineering, with their cement plants engaged in a number of carbon reduction practices

For our clients, the only thing you’ll notice is that we’ll have some shiny new machinery, and we’ll be able to do more, better, with less disruption and a reduced environmental impact.
