Minster Group has constructed a drive-thru and car park for a new Starbucks coffee shop in Louth
The coffee shop and drive-thru in Louth opened on 16th October 2020, after it’s original summer opening date was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Minster Group was hired to completely surface the outdoor drive-thru and car park area for the coffee chain shop, to make it accessible for both pedestrians and drivers.
The new build is the first Starbucks – and first drive-thru coffee shop – to open in Louth, and has been open throughout lockdown as a takeaway service for local customers.
The project, completed by the Minster team, provides clear car parking signage around the restaurant and directions for drivers entering the one-way drive-thru.
“We were delighted to be involved in this exciting new project in Lincolnshire, which will be great for the local residents in Louth and fantastic for the local economy.
“It’s fantastic to be able to continue our vital road surfacing work during this time, and deliver a satisfying job for both the business and its customers during the pandemic.
“Hopefully this new development will encourage more businesses to open in the area.”
– Bruce Spencer-Knott, Managing Director of Minster Surfacing.
The outlet has created 11 new jobs in the historic market town and Minster Group is proud of contributing to the development of the local economy.
Minster Group has also been asked to work on a drive-thru for KFC in Louth, further adding to our portfolio of work in the local town.
“It’s always exciting to be taking on new projects, and we can’t wait to start work on the new KFC drive-thru – which will be a first for the area!”
